Chapter 21
Sartin pushed his upper body off Maru and enjoyed the stretch of his lower back and the friction of their cocks pressed together. After a minute, Sartin leaned down and kissed Maru again. Maru accepted the kisses with enthusiasm. Then Sartin worked his way down Maruâs body.
He didnât stop at the nipples like Maru had, but headed directly for Maruâs hard cock. Sartin paused when his tongue slipped over the hair that grew at Maruâs belly button. Sartin lapped at the treasure trail that led to Maruâs cock.
Maru wiggled and giggled while Sartin slurped at the peculiar hair. âThat tickles.â
Satisfied with his curiosity, Sartin took his hand and rubbed Maruâs stomach. The giggles turned to groans. Sartin recognized the moans. He had coaxed those sounds from Thornton.
Sartin ran his hand down Maruâs abdomen, his fingertips discovering each ridge, valley, and plain that the tight muscles formed on Maruâs skin, just like Sartinâs own tight stomach. He paused, again, when he reached the bush of black hair that grew above Maruâs cock. Sartin spread his fingers and carded through the black, curly mass. Maru flinched.
âAm I hurting you?â Sartin turned his head from the object of his attention to Maruâs face.
âOnly when the hair tangles, and it doesnât hurt as much as surprise me.â
âIâm sorry. Iâve never seen this pubic hair before. Itâs sexy and a bit revolting at the same time.â
Maru laughed. âIâm sorry if itâs revolting. Kekoa wants me to trim it down, but I figure if I refuse to do that heâll be less attracted to me.â
Sartin pushed himself back up to Maruâs face and kissed his lips. He rested his forehead on Maruâs and stroked Maruâs cheek. âYou donât know how lucky you are. Iâve been praying to the Princess for five seasons for a suitable mate and here you have what sounds like a fine warrior who wants you.â
Maru pushed Sartin aside and sat up. The rain continued to pound down upon the shelter and the beach, its roar filling Sartinâs ears.
âI wish it were that easy.â
Sartin sat up and scooted closer to Maru. Sartin rubbed Maruâs thigh. âI didnât mean to offend. I justââ
âI know. Iâm sorry to be so sensitive about it. I guess Iâm a bit confused.â
Sartin rolled over on his stomach as lightning flashed and thunder sounded. âAbout what?â
âWhatâs going on between us.â
âOh.â Although very much attracted Maru, Sartin hadnât considered the consequences of sleeping with him.
Thornton always wanted to keep their trysts secret. Sartin came and went as he pleased during the Winter Beach meetings, then they resumed their clandestine relationship in the summer.
Maru broke Sartinâs reverie. âHow long are you staying?â
Sartin rolled back over and sat up, no longer touching Maru. âIâ¦I donât know. Right now, I have no idea where Winter Beach is. I can barely sense that food is near.â
âThen you are leaving me when you are well?â
âYes.â
âJust like the legends tellâ¦â
âIâm sorry, Maru, but I donât belong here.â
âI donât think I do either, sometimes.â
Sartin chuckled. âI know exactly how you feel.
